Job summary

Northside Hospital in Canton, GA is seeking a Pharmacist to join our clinical team, providing drug information and optimizing therapy across patient care areas.

The role emphasizes safety, drug interactions review, and collaboration with nurses and physicians; hospital experience and strong communication are valued as we support adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced environment. Shift hours 07:30–20:00 with rotating weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• One year hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Advises on drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure safe therapy.
• Serves all patients including adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• 1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:

• 1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.


• 2. Good communication skills.
