Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join our award-winning team in the Atlanta region. The Pharmacist will support patient care by delivering pharmaceutical services to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers while ensuring safe and effective drug therapy across diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

The role features 3x12-hour shifts per week with every fourth weekend rotation, aligning with hospital staffing needs and patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

The Pharmacist will be working 3x12h shifts/week plus every fourth weekend rotation.

REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:

• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience in Oncology Pharmacy.
• Good communication skills.
