Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Pharmacist to join our clinical team. The role integrates patient-focused pharmaceutical services with traditional distributive duties, delivering drug information to nurses, physicians and other clinicians to ensure safe, optimal therapy.

The position includes 3x12 hour shifts per week and a rotating weekend schedule; hospital experience and oncology pharmacy familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience in Oncology Pharmacy preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

The Pharmacist will be working 3x12h shifts/week plus every fourth weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
