Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions, counseling patients, and supervising pharmacy technicians while ensuring compliance with all laws and company standards.

The pharmacist-on-duty leads the department, optimizes workflow to reduce customer wait times, delivers immunizations and medication therapy management, and maintains accurate records, inventory and security in a courteous, service-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Immunization and CPR certifications
• Strong communication and numerical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services, fill prescriptions, counsel patients and supervise technicians
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws
• Lead pharmacist-on-duty, manage workflow and minimize customer wait times
• Maintain inventory, records and security, and handle controlled substances per policy
• Deliver immunizations and medication therapy management
• Uphold company dress standards and professional image
