Job summary
Community Medical Centers in Fresno/Clovis, CA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide basic and clinical pharmacy services within our hospital. You will review orders and advise physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe medication use.
The ideal candidate holds a California pharmacy license and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, bringing clinical expertise to drug utilization reviews. We offer tuition support and a strong benefits package as part of a diverse, inclusive team.
Qualifications
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
Responsibilities
- Provides for delivery of basic pharmacy services and patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services
- Reviews all drug orders and checks all work completed by ancillary personnel in the department
- Serves as drug expert and consultant to physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel
- Provides quality assurance review of drug utilization throughout the hospital for various medical staff committees and the department
