Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receiving and filling prescriptions
• Communicating with medical professionals about patients and their medications
• Listening to patients' reports of symptoms and provide suggestions for over-the-counter medications
• Accurately measuring, preparing and distributing proper medications to the patients that need them
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointment
• Ensure accuracy in patient billing and coding information
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area
• Responsible for obtaining authorizations and referrals, addressing billing inquiries and collections
