Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to be responsible for medication order entry, preparation, and distribution for patients. The Pharmacist ensures proper prescription and administration of medications within the institution.
Applicants must possess a PharmD degree and be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Strong organization, analytical skills, and a proven track record in pharmaceutical calculations are essential for this role, which may involve additional duties.
The Pharmacist shall be responsible for medication order entry, preparation, and distribution for patients. The Pharmacist will help to ensure the appropriate prescription and administration of medications to patients within the institution. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required, PharmD degree required. PGY1 residency or 3 or more years of inpatient practice preferred.
Active RPH required, Active Alabama Controlled Substance certification required, BLS required, BPS certification preferred.
