ALABAMA REGIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES' ARMS Rapid Care Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to lead a high-performing team and ensure exceptional patient care across our pharmacy operations.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, mentor technicians, supervise compliance with Alabama laws, optimize 340B opportunities, and contribute to community outreach and revenue initiatives, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD).
Active license to practice pharmacy in Alabama.
Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with ARMS policy and Alabama state laws.
Supervise and mentor Pharmacy Technicians and PRN Technicians.
Dispense medications with a strong commitment to patient safety and organizational procedures.
Monitor pharmacy trends, optimize 340B opportunities, and pursue revenue-enhancing initiatives.
Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and safety protocols.
Lead the development of pharmacy marketing plans and educational outreach efforts.
Support business development and community pharmacy programs.
Conduct regular inventory control, including timely removal of expired medications.
