Job summary

CVS Health in Brandon, MS is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations and provide compassionate patient care at the store level. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee the pharmacy team during shifts, and ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and adherence to all regulations.

Your responsibilities include coaching staff, improving patient experiences, resolving insurance and medication issues, and delivering clinical services where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by supporting safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations during shifts when acting as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assist in managing patient care and resolving insurance/medication issues to improve outcomes.
• Deliver immunizations and coach staff on clinical services as permissible by law.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies.
