Akina Pharmacy in Sterling, VA is seeking a Pharmacist – Non-Sterile Compounding Supervisor. This full-time, in-person role reports to the Production Manager and leads the non-sterile technician team while performing compounding and verification duties.

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted Virginia Pharmacist license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience providing direct leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to pharmacy technicians or staff.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in non-sterile compounding or oversight of non-sterile compounding operations.
• Working knowledge of USP <795> and <800>, Virginia Board of Pharmacy requirements, and applicable federal pharmacy laws.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coach the non-sterile technician team, ensuring accountability and clear direction.
• Oversee non-sterile production workflow, staffing, and coverage to meet production goals.
• Perform pharmacist in-process checks and verify non-sterile compounds per quality standards.
• Review non-sterile compounding records and release finished products within established turnaround times.
• Direct technician training and competency programs, including hazardous drug handling training.
