Akina Pharmacy in Sterling, Virginia, is seeking a Dispensing Technician Supervisor to lead a team of dispensing technicians, ensure accurate labeling, timely fulfillment, and compliance with USP standards and Akina SOPs. This is an in-person, full-time role with exempt status.

You will manage daily workflow, assign tasks, coach staff, and partner with pharmacists to keep prescriptions moving. A Virginia-registered CPhT is required, with 1–2 years of dispensing experience and leadership ability.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors preferred.
• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status and VA registration required.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy dispensing experience in a retail, institutional, or compounding setting.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead dispensing technicians and manage daily workflow for fill stations.
• Ensure accuracy, labeling, and USP compliance; maintain FEFO and documentation standards.
• Resolve escalated orders and coordinate with Clinical Pharmacy for timely shipments.
• Coach, train, and evaluate technicians; monitor performance metrics.
