UC San Diego Health seeks an outstanding Intern Pharmacist to join the Home Infusion Pharmacy team as a Per Diem Pharmacy Intern. This 3–4 year program builds clinical, teaching, research and distribution skills while you remain a student at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

Interns work full time during the summer (40 hours/week, 8+ weeks) and at least every other weekend for the rest of the year, with one major and one minor holiday annually.

Qualificações

• California Board of Pharmacy Intern Pharmacist License is required.
• Active enrollment as a UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy student.

Responsabilidades

• Patient care management and medication review.
• Priority handling of prior authorization and medication refill processing.
• IV room duties, sterile compounding and equipment handling.
• Phone triage, problem solving and inventory management.
