Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking an outstanding Pharmacist Intern to join the Home Infusion Pharmacy team as a Per Diem Pharmacy Intern. The program spans 3–4 years, with skill-building each year, while you remain a student at the UCSD School of Pharmacy.

Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week during the summer (≥8 weeks), and at least every other weekend during the year, including at least one major holiday. This role is based in the Infusion Pharmacy department at UCSD Health.

Qualifications

• Program is a 3- or 4-year structured internship in pharmacy school.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Infusion Pharmacy team in clinical, teaching, research and distribution activities.
• Commit to the 3–4 year program while remaining enrolled in the School of Pharmacy.
• Work full-time during summer (40 hours/week for at least 8 weeks) and at least every other weekend during other parts of the year.

DESCRIPTION

UC San Diego Health is seeking an outstanding Intern Pharmacist to join a highly successful Home Infusion Pharmacy team to work as a Per Diem Pharmacy Intern.

The job will integrate into the clinical, teaching, research and distribution system for UC San Diego Health and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This will be a 3 or 4 year structured program with skill sets and competencies building with each successive year. The job requires a commitment to remain at UCSD for the full 3-4 years while being a student at the school of pharmacy.
