Job summary

King Soopers is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our Aurora, CO team part-time. You will assist customers with drug information, input prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system, and support the pharmacist with immunizations and OTC recommendations.

The role requires active enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current state Pharmacy Intern license. You will work in a safe, fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide drug counseling.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense medications and process third party insurance.
• Call prescribers for authorization when needed.
• Provide immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain knowledge of product information and assist with OTC recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in a high-paced setting.
• Report safety issues and cooperate with team.
