Job summary

Fred Meyer, a Kroger family company, seeks a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate medication services at our Salem store. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, gain hands-on experience with prescription processing, patient counseling, and OTC recommendations while learning operations in a high-volume retail setting.

Actively enrolled in a US pharmacy program and holding a Pharmacy Intern license are required.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
