Job summary

UR Medicine Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY seeks an inpatient Pharmacist to promote safe, effective medication use. You will support medication distribution, provide drug information, and collaborate with medical staff to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include NYS pharmacist registration and continuing education; a Pharm.D or B.Pharm is required, with Board Certification preferred. Ambulatory care experience is a plus, with a competitive hourly pay range and strong CARES values.

Pay Range: $55.00 -$65.00, based on experience.

Main Function:

In cooperation with the Medical Staff, the Health System and Director of Pharmacy, participates in programs and procedures designed to promote the appropriate, safe and effective use of medications for Thompson Health patients and residents. Inpatient position.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Pharmacist registration.
• Accredited continuing education as required/defined by New York State
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm. D from accredited Pharmacy program required
• Board Certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of one year of ambulatory care pharmacy experience preferred

Pay Range: $55.00 -$65.00
