Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a Pharmacy Informatics leader to direct development and implementation of informatics applications, tools, and decision support to enhance safe medication use. You will partner with Pharmacy Management, clinical analytics, DS pharmacists, Nursing Informatics, and CMIO in improving medication systems and practice.

The role focuses on designing life‑saving medication rules, alerts, and drug libraries, while guiding technology strategy and education for staff.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Michigan.
• Hospital pharmacy experience or ASHP residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the pharmacy informatics expert resource and partner with Pharmacy and clinical teams.
• Design and implement order sets, treatment plans, and therapy rules for safe medication use.
• Develop and monitor drug library and smart pump infusion settings with Pharmacy leadership.
• Lead informatics policy, software customization, upgrades, and testing activities.
