Job summary

Insight Global’s client in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead a sterile compounding pharmacy. You will ensure compliance with USP /, FDA, and state boards, while overseeing operations and patient safety.

The role requires active NV licensure with plan to obtain CA licensure within 90 days, and oversight of multi-state regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and QA mindset preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager leading multi-state operations and responsible for staff development.
• Background in sterile compounding with deep knowledge of USP 797, USP 800, and sterile compounding regulations.
• Experience in a 503A compounding pharmacy.
• PharmD with current NV licensure.
• Willing to obtain CA licensure within first 90 days.
• Experience working in a 503B compounding pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations (USP <797>, <800>, FDA, and state boards of pharmacy)
• Oversee sterile compounding operations, including workflow, personnel, and quality assurance programs
• Ensure compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and other non-resident state requirements
• Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding
• Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation programs
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
• Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for inspections at all times
