Job summary

VytlOne in Carson City, NV is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge to lead outpatient pharmacy operations for retail and specialty patients. The PIC will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliant billing within a not-for-profit healthcare system.

The role requires a PharmD or Nevada-licensed pharmacist with at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with pharmacy software. Competitive benefits and a robust pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy management experience.
• Current Nevada pharmacy license in good standing.
• Specialty pharmacy and health-system experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with policy and law.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer experience with pharmacy software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all outpatient pharmacy operations for retail and specialty patients.
• Supervise pharmacy staff—hiring, training, data entry, verification and dispensing.
• Manage drug purchasing and inventory controls.
• Ensure accurate, timely billing and remittance processes.
• Engage with pharma reps; stay informed on therapeutics and patient assistance programs.
• Develop management reporting dashboards and ad hoc management reports.
• Address drug information questions and ensure patient literacy and safety.
