Job summary

Sierra Health + Wellness is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead the pharmacy's operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will supervise staff, ensure proper dispensing, and maintain high patient-care standards.

The PIC will liaise with regulatory agencies, oversee quality assurance, inventory management, and staff performance to optimize safety and efficiency across the pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and an active CA Pharmacist license.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of pharmacy leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure safe dispensing and adherence to laws and standards.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and quality assurance programs.
• Monitor performance and drive safety, efficiency, and service improvements.
• Lead regulatory inspections and audits as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and controlled substances.
• Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacists and technicians.
