Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for dispensing; entry, fill and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing per patient data.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment for safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Transfer prescriptions as needed; answer questions from patients/doctors.
