Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, LLC in Sugar Land, Texas, is expanding its team within the Guardian Pharmacy Services network. We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing, exceptional patient care, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, reviewing orders, and mentoring technicians while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and safety. Full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Medical consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and interactions.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations.
• Adhere to guidelines for compounding.
• Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed.
• Answer questions from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders when below par.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Log all error medication occurrences.
• Other duties as needed.
