Job summary

Druid City Infusion in Montana invites an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead the pharmacy team and oversee home infusion therapies. The role ensures safe, compliant medication-use processes, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and collaboration with prescribers, nurses, and patients to deliver high-quality care.

You will supervise pharmacists and staff, maintain licenses, and drive continuous quality improvement in accordance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted state pharmacist license in good standing
• Current immunizations certification (if required by state law)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification - not required
• At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medication reviews and offer patient consultations to optimize drug therapy management.
• Assess patients' clinical condition by reviewing lab results and vital signs to determine suitability of home infusion therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop individualized therapy plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, storage, side effects, and potential complications.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols in partnership with the healthcare team.
• Oversee safe and compliant medication-use processes and review prescriptions for appropriateness.
• Lead pharmacy staff, manage staffing and training, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with home health nurses, physicians, and providers to ensure integrated care.
