Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. seeks a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) based in New Providence, NJ, to oversee enteral nutrition support operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise interstate shipping, and maintain licensure across NJ, TN, NY, and MA.

The role requires active NJ licensure and DEA registration, with preferred BCNSP certification. Expect collaboration with HR, Compliance, and Respiratory Operations to uphold quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in New Jersey (required as home-state PIC license).
• Active, unrestricted (or eligible for immediate non-resident registration) licenses in TN, NY, and MA.
• Active DEA registration; ability to obtain additional state controlled‑substance registrations as required.
• Board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy (BCNSP) preferred, not required.
• 3–5 years of pharmacy practice experience; home infusion/enteral/parenteral nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active NJ, TN, NY, and MA licensure; renew as required.
• Serve as designated Pharmacist in Charge for NJ and responsible pharmacist for non-resident permits/registrations.
• Monitor state board statutes/regulations for non-resident dispensing and ensure compliance.
• Ensure permits and registrations are current and filed prior to shipping to each state.
• Serve as primary contact for state board inspections, audits, and inquiries.
