Job summary

PromptCare Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee NJ enteral nutrition pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage multi-state licensure and DEA registrations.

The role requires active NJ licensure and the ability to obtain non-resident licenses in TN, NY, and MA within six months. The PIC will supervise dispensing, verification, and interstate shipping while engaging with state boards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted NJ pharmacist license (home-state PIC).
• Active licenses in TN, NY, and MA or eligibility for immediate non-resident registrations.
• Active DEA registration; ability to obtain additional state registrations as needed.
• Board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy (preferred, not required).
• 3–5 years of pharmacy practice, with home infusion/enteral/parenteral nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active NJ, TN, NY, and MA licenses; renewals and status changes.
• Serve as designated Pharmacist in Charge for NJ and responsible pharmacist for non-resident permits.
• Monitor state non-resident statutes and ensure compliant shipping practices across states.
• Keep permits, registrations, and DEA registrations current before shipping.
• Serve as primary contact for state board inspections and inquiries.
• Oversee daily enteral nutrition pharmacy operations: order entry, clinical review, verification, dispensing.
