Job summary

Gilbert Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure SOP and regulatory compliance, and supervise pharmacists and technicians in Florida. You will manage sterile and non-sterile compounding, maintain USP standards, and coordinate with regulatory agencies as the primary contact.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent licensed in Florida
• Minimum 5 years of compounding pharmacy experience; sterile compounding preferred
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Florida (and other states as required)

Responsibilities

• Oversee compounding operations (sterile and non-sterile) and ensure USP standards are followed
• Supervise pharmacists and technicians; manage staffing and training records
• Represent the facility in regulatory audits and communications with state/federal agencies
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, documentation, and batch production records
• Monitor production goals, quality metrics, and actionable KPIs to optimize performance
