Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Operations leader to oversee Centralized Services teams, drive training and performance, and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and SOPs. You will mentor staff, manage resources, and foster a diverse, inclusive workplace while upholding patient privacy and quality standards.

The role requires pharmacists to lead, supervise, and optimize processes, including regulatory adherence and cross-functional collaboration across states where licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with at least five years of experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in multiple states or able to obtain licensure within six months.
• Experience leading pharmacy operations and handling confidential information.
• Act as PIC (Pharmacist in Charge) for facility licensing as needed.
• Experience analyzing data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Experience presenting to diverse audiences inside and outside the organization.
• Strong time management for multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Excel skills for computing sums, formatting, charts and data management.
• Word skills for document formatting and tabular data.
• Two+ years contributing to financial decisions.
• Two+ years of leadership experience.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day Centralized Services operations and metrics.
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge as required by facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and SOPs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant security and patient privacy; manage records.
• Mentor staff through onboarding, training and performance management.
• Lead customer service protocols and resolve issued calls and tickets.
• Review training documents and SOPs; act as subject matter expert.
• Provide leadership aligned with company vision and values.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve team goals.
• Develop standards of work performance, budgets and plans.
• Identify new ideas; analyze problems to find sustainable solutions.
• Complete continuing education credits for licensure.
