Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems.
• Ability to adhere to regulatory guidelines and Good Faith Dispensing when filling prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs pharmacy tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies, manages staffing and scheduling.
• Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients.
• Supports clinical and wellness services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.
• Develops relationships with local medical community to grow the business.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree from an accredited educational institution
