Position Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing home infusion pharmacy franchise, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and patient care in Rochester, MN.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with strong operational management skills, regulatory knowledge, and experience leading pharmacy teams.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient pharmacy operations, supporting home infusion therapies, and ensuring the highest standards of medication preparation, dispensing, and patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, documentation, and quality standards specific to home infusion therapy.
• Supervise medication preparation, dispensing, storage, handling, and disposal to ensure patient safety.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, medication supplies, and operational workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and optimize home infusion medication regimens.
• Provide medication therapy management, patient counseling, and education related to infusion therapies.
• Lead, train, mentor, and support pharmacy staff to maintain a productive and collaborative environment.
• Address employee performance concerns, operational challenges, and workflow improvements.
• Promote continuing education and keep the team informed about advancements in home infusion therapies.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers, manufacturers, and industry partners.
• Represent the pharmacy in professional meetings and industry events as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Active, unrestricted Minnesota Pharmacist license required.
• Demonstrated experience in pharmacy leadership, staff supervision, and operational management.
• Strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations, compliance requirements, and pharmacy best practices.
• Knowledge of medication preparation, dispensing procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to manage pharmacy inventory, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
