Schedule
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday Rotation: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Pay Range
$120,000 - $140,000
Essential Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing, including filling, order entry, and packaging.
- Review completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions were filled correctly.
- Verify the legality and feasibility of dispensing a drug based on patient allergies, incompatibilities, and refill frequency.
- Interpret prescription orders, exercising professional judgment to determine appropriateness of dispensing.
- Adhere to all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and applicable compounding guidelines.
- Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed.
- Answer questions from patients, doctors, nurses, and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate inventory levels, place orders when below par, and identify cost‑effective replacements for out‑of‑stock items.
- Notify customers/facilities of stock status and expected availability.
- Restock station supplies (vials, cassettes, labels, delivery tickets, etc.).
- Oversee technicians, provide feedback to their supervisor regarding performance.
- Log all medication error occurrences.
- Perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (required).
- State Pharmacist License without restrictions (required).

- 1+ years of related experience.
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred or required.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment handling multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
- Medical consulting experience preferred.
