Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting. You will oversee dispensing and monitoring of medications to ensure safe and effective therapy, and liaise with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires a BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school, and a Registered Pharmacist license. 1-2 years hospital experience and EPIC exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.
• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Licenses and Certifications: Registered Pharmacist License.

The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services ensuring the safe and effective utilization of medications. The Pharmacist is responsible for the dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of principles of USP 795, 797, and 800.
• EPIC experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Registered Pharmacist License.
