Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a safe, clean environment.
• Administer immunizations following Kroger standing orders.
• Dispense medications per prescriptions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and required ingredients.
• Verify new medication against patient profile to prevent interactions.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy of prescriptions.
• Support promotions in consultation with Pharmacy Manager.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to promote teamwork and safety.
• Carefully communicate program details and department information to staff.
