• Must be licensed or eligible in Missouri, with licensure within 90 days.
• Bachelor in Pharmacy is required; PharmD preferred.

• Monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information and patient education.
• Supervise and direct support personnel; may act as pharmacy manager in the absence of the pharmacy manager.

Job Description

In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager. Must be patient-focused, team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy Experience
• Preferred: Post-graduate Pharmacy Residency Training

Skills

• Proficient in using computers and computer systems such as excel, word, and power point
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or eligible for licensure by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and obtains licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire.
