Job summary

CoxHealth Branson Pharmacy Float Pool is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to process and verify medication orders, monitor therapies, and provide drug information. You will supervise support staff and may assume pharmacy manager duties in their absence.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Pharmacy (ACPE-accredited) with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred; Missouri pharmacist licensure is required. Prior experience is not required, though 2 years in healthcare settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's in pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
• Experience: Required: No Prior Experience Required
• Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training

Responsibilities

• Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information.
• Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel.
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
