Job summary

SpartanNash in Davison, MI is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. This position focuses on accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, and uphold HIPAA standards while delivering exceptional customer service and safe pharmaceutical care. A Doctorate in Pharmacy is preferred, with a state license in good standing and immunization certification a plus;

Qualifications

• Pharmacy license in good standing in the state of operation.
• Three years experience in pharmaceutical department.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• HIPAA privacy and security rules knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescription and refill requests and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
• Dispense medications as prescribed and oversee labeling and packaging.
• Provide medication counseling on prescription and OTC medications.
• Order, stock, and perform cycle counts for pharmacy inventory.
• Review orders for amount, quality, and correct storage.
• Maintain pharmacy records and comply with regulations.
• Lead and oversee pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and well-stocked department.
