JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist Coordinator A in Baltimore, MD to review and verify complex medication orders, oversee oncology pharmacy operations, and collaborate with clinical specialists.

Job description

Responsibilities

The Pharmacist Coordinator A will review, assess, and verify complex medication orders including chemotherapy. They will complete therapeutic drug monitoring (e.g., vancomycin, methotrexate, anticoagulation) and collaborate with Oncology Pharmacy Clinical Specialists and the interdisciplinary team. Additionally, they will oversee complex oncology pharmacy operations supporting 100 inpatient beds, ambulatory bone marrow transplant/cellular therapy patients, and 3 ambulatory infusion clinics. The pharmacist will serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents in ASHP accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 programs and participate in longitudinal operational projects and drug research.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
  • Hospital and departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of hire; ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired.
  • Previous health-system experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel is desired.

Salary Range

Minimum $51.79/hour – Maximum $85.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
