Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the UCH Amb HOPD Pharmacy (Oncology) team in Aurora, CO. This full-time, onsite role supports medications management, patient counseling, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to promote safe, effective therapy.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, state licensure as a Pharmacist, and ongoing professional development to stay current with therapies and care protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
• Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $57.50 - $80.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
