Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacist, Clinical Operations to join our team in Madison, WI. The role focuses on telephonic patient consultations regarding specialty medications and disease management, plus medication reconciliation and order verification to ensure accuracy before shipment.

The position requires a current Wisconsin Pharmacist license, with at least 2 years of experience. Expect to meet production metrics while upholding quality standards and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in state where any on-site work will be conducted.
• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing licensed Pharmacist preferred.
• Specialty pharmacy experience or understanding of REMS and Limited Distribution Products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions for pharmaceutical preparations and devices; maintain records and submit third-party claims; consult with physicians and nurses; advise on formulary medications and therapies.
• Provide clear clinical documentation of patient consultations and interventions in pharmacy software per policies and regulations.
• Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians; interpret prescriptions and verify information to expedite processing.
