The Bureau of Prisons seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our medical services team, delivering safe, effective medication use to support inmate health and public safety. This role requires an ACPE-accredited PharmD/PhD or equivalent, U.S.
licensure, and at least one year of professional pharmacy experience, including dispensing and review. You will dispense medications, advise on therapy, maintain records, ensure proper labeling, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize medication programs

Nonforeign Area Cost-of-Living Allowances (COLA): There is an 8.64% (of basic pay) Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) authorized for FDC Honolulu, HI, and a 2.49% for MDC Guaynabo, PR. See COLA and Locality Pay Rates in Nonforeign Areas for more information.

In addition to meeting the Basic Requirements above, applicants must have a minimum of one year of professional pharmacy experience.
Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.

This process includes validation of examinations, licensure, education, internship and residency.
