Job summary

Oakdale Community Hospital is seeking a qualified hospital pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department. The role involves ensuring high-quality medication management and collaborating with physicians to support patient care under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director.

Ideal candidates will have completed a hospital pharmacy residency or possess substantial hospital experience and hold an active Louisiana pharmacy license.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director, insures the quality of care provided to all patients by the clarification and understanding of the responsibilities of all members of the Pharmacy Department. Plans, organizes, supervises and assists in providing acceptable Pharmacy Service to all patients treated at this institution. Is responsible for all activities related to the accomplishment of appropriate Pharmacy Service for patients and physicians.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program approved by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists preferred. Previous experience as a Hospital Pharmacist desirable.

Education: Current license from Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
