Job summary

SpecialtyRx is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our New Jersey team serving long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. The role focuses on evaluating medication orders, ensuring accurate dispensing, and coordinating with nursing staff and physicians.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ Pharmacist license, has experience in Long Term Care, and demonstrates analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and multitask in a demanding

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license with NJ Board of Pharmacy.

• Computer literate; familiarity with Frameworks LTC system (PLUS).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Licensed Pharmacist to join our New Jersey Team!

Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

License Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related queries.
• Supervise the preparation of any medicines

License Pharmacist Requirements

• Active Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy a must
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS

Full Time-Hours: 4:00pm-Closing (Monday through Friday/rotating weekends) (2nd Shift Differential)
