Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our New Jersey team. This long-term care pharmacy prioritizes personalized care and quality service to facilities and living communities.

Responsibilities include evaluating orders, ensuring correct labeling, and coordinating with nursing staff and physicians. Active NJ pharmacist license required; LTC experience preferred. Full-time, 4:00pm–Closing, Mon-Fri with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license with NJ Board of Pharmacy.
• 4 year degree required for licensure.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians and healthcare team about medication queries.
• Supervise preparation of medicines.
• Work with LTC system and documentation as required.
• Maintain accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for License Pharmacist to join our New Jersey Team!

Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical servicesto long term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure that dispense medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related query.
• Supervise the preparation of any medicines.
• Active Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy a must
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS

Full Time-Hours: 4:00pm-Closing (Monday through Friday/rotating weekends)
