Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy Services department. This full-time night-shift position collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective medication use and patient care.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, advising on formulary alternatives, overseeing compounding and delivery, and serving as a preceptor for students while providing patient counseling.

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Recommend formulary alternatives and provide expert drug information to medical staff and patients.
• Oversee accurate compounding and delivery of medications while leading technical support staff.

• Collaborate with physicians to facilitate seamless care and flexible coverage across the department.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
