The Opportunity:
Our Client seeking a highly skilled and driven Pharmacist to take on a leadership role in overseeing our retail pharmacy, non-sterile and sterile compounding operations, and evolving clinical service offerings. This is a high-impact and fast-paced position that requires a pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings strong leadership, clinical knowledge, and organizational skills to the table.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing diverse pharmacy operations, leading a team, and helping shape the direction of new service lines including pharmacogenomics and other cutting-edge clinical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of retail pharmacy, non-sterile compounding, and sterile compounding services.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, compounding guidelines, and safety standards.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to pharmacy staff, fostering a team-focused and compliant work environment.
- Work collaboratively with other pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient and accurate workflows.
- Lead or contribute to special projects, including the development and rollout of pharmacogenomics and additional clinical services.
- Participate in office/management time every Friday, either alternating full-day coverage or a consistent 4-hour shift.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Current and valid Pharmacist License in MO.
- Experience with compounding (sterile and non-sterile) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Passion for innovation and interest in clinical service development, including pharmacogenomics.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Schedule Details:
- Core Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Fridays: Office/Management time either every other full Friday or 4-hour Friday shifts
- No weekend or late evening hours; work-life balance while leading a meaningful mission.
