Acara Solutions is seeking a PA State Pharmacist licensed for an onsite role in Lehighton, PA. The position is fully onsite with a 4x10 schedule and occasional weekend hours, including on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions following the Standard of Practice
  • Report dispensing incidents promptly and accurately
  • Follow state and federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
  • Oversee submission and collection of all third-party claims
  • Maintain and balance the pharmacy inventory to ensure stock for customers
  • Maintain prescription files and other records per guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Loss Prevention policies

Job description

Acara Solutions is looking for a PA State Pharmacist Licensed for one of our clients in Lehigton, PA. This is a fully onsite position.

  • Compensation: $65/hr- $67/hr it is a salaried position
  • Schedule:
  • - 4 10's 8am-6pm and 9am-7pm
  • - Weekends are Saturday only 9am-5pm, one per month
  • On call for emergency only.
Job Duties:
  • Follows the Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions
  • Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensingincidents in a timely manner, inaccordance with company guidelines
  • Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
  • Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims
  • Managesandbalancesthepharmacyinventorytoensuremaximumrumswhileremainingin-stockforcustomerneeds.
  • Ensuresprescriptionfilesand othermanualrecordsare maintainedin accordancewithallstateandfederalguidelines
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees always
  • Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
  • Overseesthemaintenanceof thepharmacydepartmenttoinsurea clean andprofessional environment
  • Maintainsanddevelopsprofessionalrelationshipswithdoctorsandothersinthehealthserviceprofessions
  • Maintain awarenessofdevelopmentsin the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integratesthem into ownpractice
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
  • Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
  • Workon-callschedule,whereapplicable
  • Interactswith FacilityManager in theappropriatecompletionof hiringpractices,performancereviewsanddisciplinaryactionsofpharmacydepartment personnel.
  • Perform MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance

at customer locations.

  • Assistsin meeting or exceeding budgetarysales guidelinesand operatingthe pharmacywithin said guidelines
  • Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy

Job Requirements:
  • Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift
Job Skills Required:
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Basic keyboarding skills
