Job summary

Acara Solutions in Lehighton, PA is seeking a PA State Pharmacist licensed for an onsite role. The position offers on-site work with a 4x10 schedule: 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm, weekends once per month on Saturday 9am-5pm, and on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions according to standards, QA steps, managing third-party claims, maintaining inventory, and upholding confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Salary is $65-$67 per hour, paid as a salaried position.

Qualifications

• Valid PA pharmacy license and current registration.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout shift.
• Minimum BS or PharmD in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions following the Standard of Practice.
• Perform quality assurance steps to insure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Oversee submission, resubmission, and collection of third-party claims.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory to balance supply and in-stock levels for customers.
• Maintain prescription files and records per state and federal guidelines.
• Provide outstanding customer service and professional communication.
• Work on-call schedule where applicable.
• Coordinate with Facility Manager on hiring practices, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Perform MTM and other clinical functions to support consultants.

Acara Solutions is looking for a PA State Pharmacist Licensed for one of our clients in Lehigton, PA. This is a fully onsite position.

• Compensation: $65/hr- $67/hr it is a salaried position
• Schedule:
• - 4 10's 8am-6pm and 9am-7pm
• - Weekends are Saturday only 9am-5pm, one per month
• On call for emergency only.

Job Duties:

• Follows the Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions
• Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensingincidents in a timely manner, inaccordance with company guidelines
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims
• Managesandbalancesthepharmacyinventorytoensuremaximumrumswhileremainingin-stockforcustomerneeds.
• Ensuresprescriptionfilesand othermanualrecordsare maintainedin accordancewithallstateandfederalguidelines
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees always
• Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
• Overseesthemaintenanceof thepharmacydepartmenttoinsurea clean andprofessional environment
• Maintainsanddevelopsprofessionalrelationshipswithdoctorsandothersinthehealthserviceprofessions
• Maintainawarenessofdevelopmentsin thePharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integratesthem into ownpractice
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Workon-callschedule,whereapplicable
• Interactswith FacilityManager in theappropriatecompletionof hiringpractices,performancereviewsanddisciplinaryactionsofpharmacydepartment personnel.
• Perform MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance

at customer locations.

• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guide lines and operating the pharmacy within said guide lines
• Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy

Job Requirements:

• Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
• Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift
