Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada seeks a per diem Hospital Pharmacist to coordinate pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care with a strong emphasis on patient safety. The role spans General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient services.

Qualified candidates hold a Pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred) and a current state license; hospital pharmacy experience and BLS/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• Scope of patient care includes General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.

• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable required):
