Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team under the Director of Pharmacy, ensuring high quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety across inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications include a current state Pharmacist license, hospital pharmacy experience preferred, a B.S. in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), and BLS/ACLS certification preferred; APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
