Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, part of the Valley Health System under Universal Health Services, seeks a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a busy hospital setting.

The role involves dispensing medications, monitoring therapies, counseling patients, and providing drug information. Nevada licensed pharmacists with hospital experience are preferred; automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm).
• Current Pharmacist License in Nevada.
• One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Automation experience with reporting features.

Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care.
