Job summary

North Vista Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join its team in North Las Vegas, NV.

Under the Director of Pharmacy's supervision, you will coordinate activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety across multiple clinical areas, including ICU, Emergency, and Outpatient services. This role supports a dynamic hospital environment in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable): APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Education
